A freight pulse board should help a visitor decide where to look first. It should not pretend to know every shipment, truck, vessel or aircraft in real time.
Start with the signal type. Weather alerts point to possible corridor disruption. Airport observations show local operating weather around major cargo nodes. Diesel price movement gives cost context rather than a quote.
The strongest use is comparison. If weather alerts are concentrated in one region and the map shows a major corridor through the same area, the visitor has a reason to open the corridor or weather page and check the official source.
Check the source and timestamp on each panel. Public feeds update on their own schedules, so an older update should not be treated as a current operational fact.
